notice that a Special General Meeting (“the Nominating
Meeting”) of The Horsemen’s
Benevolent and Protective Association of British Columbia
(The HBPA of BC) will be held:

The main
purpose of the meeting is to receive additional
nominations
(see paragraph following) for the undernoted positions on
the board of directors of the
Association in its 2006 elections.

nominating committee (which was appointed pursuant to bylaw
6.4 of The HBPA of BC)
has prepared and has filed on a timely basis a
non-exhaustive list of its nominees to fill the
above positions.
